Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Menezes in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Txatxu in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a Xv de Piracicaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. 13 minutes into the game, Meng Jie Xing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 18 minutes of play Venezuela's Alex Chicote was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Xv de Piracicaba's Benedykt Saint got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Xv de Piracicaba's Jeronimo Txatxu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 40 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Txatxu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0. After 42 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Xv de Piracicaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute, Meng Jie Xing made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Txatxu got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xv de Piracicaba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Meng Jie Xing in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Xv de Piracicaba's corner Meng Jie Xing fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Menezes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ramon Menezes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Jeronimo Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xv de Piracicaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Txatxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sebastian Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ramon Menezes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ramon Menezes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Rocchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Menezes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meng Jie Xing hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Menezes in the 75th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Meng Jie Xing got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 85 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jeronimo Txatxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Benedykt Saint kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Ramon Menezes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Xv de Piracicaba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
