Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christer Belzner started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artur Sarnat. Artur Sarnat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 6th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christer Belzner in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 9 minutes, Christer Belzner made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Christer Belzner scored 1-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Christer Belzner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artur Sarnat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute. Ahmet Baki Lebib recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Belzner took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 38 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Krzynowek in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Jastrowicz came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half FC GIDLE were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Baki Lebib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Belzner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 61 minutes, Ahmet Baki Lebib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GIDLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Baki Lebib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Belzner, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Zdzislaw Krzynowek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. FC GIDLE's Tomasz Skikiewicz was substituted for Christer Belzner. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Skikiewicz's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Tomasz Skikiewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Tomasz Skikiewicz took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Baki Lebib kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-7 in the 85 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Baki Lebib showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 90 minute of play. Tomasz Skikiewicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Skikiewicz in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When the match was over FC GIDLE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
