The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. In the 47th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play forced Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Güneş Süleyman. But to his dismay, Güneş Süleyman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 89th minute of play. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy did a great save. In the 91st minute, Mehmet Emrah Sarıdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
