To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felice Cirigliano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute, Ernesto Martini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Joel Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Panza in the 12th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Elia Di Sipio with Joel Hibai as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Lunatics of Arianrhod's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Colombia's Pascual Carballar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fedele Panza hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Abram Sarmiento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristoforo Tammaro. Abram Sarmiento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Tammaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristoforo Tammaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 42nd minute. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. When Lunatics of Arianrhod's Fedele Panza in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Kevin Mastache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Colombia booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Di Sipio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ernesto Benedetti got a free kick in the 67th minute. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Francesco Romino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 81st minute of the match, Joel Hibai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Abram Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Tammaro having to interfere. Francesco Romino scored 2-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Hibai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
