Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Serafino Bazil got the match started through his kick off. Bruno Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darkness's Bruno Magdaleno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darkness's goalkeeper Bruno Magdaleno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serafino Bazil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Aldebaran Tauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darkness's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldebaran Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jhon Stones kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Magdaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Magdaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Bruno Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Darkness's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Magdaleno came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Ole-Gunnar Klose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rosendo Seguinus fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darkness's protests and gave Rosendo Seguinus a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Darkness! Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bruno Magdaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Magdaleno having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Darkness's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luis Andino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Bruno Magdaleno made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Magdaleno, 0-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, Darkness's Rodolfo Hori made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute of the match Darkness got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Hori ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Darkness to leave the ground with a draw.
