After a defensive mix-up in 广东红雀代表队's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 何渊寒 came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邓然亦 in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as 邓然亦 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 邓然亦 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, 广东红雀代表队's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but 何渊寒 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 蔡剑霆 hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 广东红雀代表队's 何渊寒 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 范鸿翀 in the 39th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Junjun Yu, made in the 41st minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 何渊寒 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 何渊寒 came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 何渊寒 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Milagros Fraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. 何渊寒 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 温浩景 made a kick off. The supporters of 广东红雀代表队 booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Kees Rijvers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Kees Rijvers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 温浩景 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 何渊寒 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute. Antonio Tenorio charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Tenorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Antonio Tenorio got a free kick in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the game, 广东红雀代表队's 温浩景 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 广东红雀代表队.
