Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 5th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 7th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Luan Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaká Lopes. Kaká Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Luan Toscano hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sebastião Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacá Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes. Kaká Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 25 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaká Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cacá Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Felipe Ros lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panama! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Leonardo Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Kaká Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jenipapo SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. In the 72nd minute Leonardo Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Percy Lopes who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percy Lopes during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jenipapo SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaká Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaká Lopes having to make a save. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Kaká Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Kaká Lopes in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Tomas Berganza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Jenipapo SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
