Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Victor Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Real Brasília FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Varela to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Pierrot Uyttebroeck. But to his dismay, Pierrot Uyttebroeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Pierrot Uyttebroeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Pierrot Uyttebroeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Romelio Lukaku tried to sneak it across the goal line. Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Romelio Lukaku got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 44th match minute, Real Brasília FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romelio Lukaku to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kris Wisanggeni made a kick off. Pierrot Uyttebroeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Real Brasília FC - DMZ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Wisanggeni in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kris Wisanggeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierrot Uyttebroeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Kris Wisanggeni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kris Wisanggeni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romelio Lukaku in the 75th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romelio Lukaku in the 79th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Real Brasília FC - DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victor Carneiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierrot Uyttebroeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierrot Uyttebroeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Real Brasília FC - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierrot Uyttebroeck in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Pierrot Uyttebroeck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
