Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Silvestre Urre struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Cementerio. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Felippe Lima to make any attempt to save it. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Celestino Distiratsu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the El Cementerio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Distiratsu couldn't finish the play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Blanco in the 27th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felippe Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Cementerio's Pontus Jönsätt got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to El Cementerio getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Timoteo Fix hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, El Cementerio's goalkeeper Felippe Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 37 minutes El Cementerio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felippe Lima quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Timoteo Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 48th match minute, El Cementerio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Silbestre to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Urre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Urre in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felippe Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Felippe Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. El Cementerio's Felippe Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felippe Lima. Felippe Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Urre in the 83rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Lima having to interfere. El Cementerio made a substitution. Basilio Satordi replaced Alonzo Blanco. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
