In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prizren04 C.F's goalkeeper Vullnet Boba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didier Drogba in the 12th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Didier Drogba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Didier Drogba tried to chip the ball over his head. Prizren04 C.F's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vullnet Boba quite easily take care of the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Prizren04 C.F's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oni Lilo. 35 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Prizren04 C.F's Vullnet Boba. Vullnet Boba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vullnet Boba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Vullnet Boba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Oni Lilo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Prizren04 C.F throughout the match.
