Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erik-Jan Verheugen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Otoniel Mondragon. Otoniel Mondragon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Otoniel Mondragon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Kaysersheim from getting a goal against them. Otoniel Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otoniel Mondragon came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Otoniel Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. Kaysersheim's Sam-Lucas Mertens got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otoniel Mondragon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Kaysersheim booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ecuador's Agustín Saelices in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kaysersheim's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 51st minute of play forced Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 54 in the game by Loid Vrints from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Dimitri Wittemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Loid Vrints who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Richmond Abrams kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otoniel Mondragon having to make a save. In the 75th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otoniel Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otoniel Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otoniel Mondragon having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loid Vrintss short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid Vrints in the 94th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
