Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Arruda in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Nistor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornel Bodiu got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florin Aluchei got a throw-in 14 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Virgil Achifoaiei. Alex Team's Florin Aluchei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Sancho, made in the 15th minute of the game. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Iacob Nistor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Florin Aluchei in the 23 minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Cornel Bodiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 30th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Iacob Nistor. Alex Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Nistor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 played minutes Alex Team got a freekick which was hit by Marin Cantemir. Iacob Nistor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 38th minute of play. Manuel Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iacob Nistor prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gică Boerescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Iacob Nistor stood somewhat misplaced when Edmundo Espiga came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 53 minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Bodiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Team's Iacob Nistor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Alex Team from getting a goal against them. After 69 minutes of play, Alex Team's Cornel Bodiu made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 71 minutes, Mugur Stolnicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alex Team and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Mugur Stolnicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Honduras booed when Alex Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Aluchei didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes in the game Florin Aluchei did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Virgil Achifoaiei. Iacob Nistor was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Gică Boerescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Iacob Nistor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute. Virgil Achifoaiei made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Gică Boerescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. The Alex Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
