A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sezgin Ulutaş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezgin Ulutaş having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, TunaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Sezgin Ulutaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TunaFC's Sezgin Ulutaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezgin Ulutaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Uche Okechukwu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ortzi Calzado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Min Alacuart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sezgin Ulutaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 53 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
