Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Marcelo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dražen Ladić made a huge save. Cassius Byrne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dražen Ladić having to make a save. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 40th minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Ferreyra in the 41st minute of the match. Cassius Byrnes short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Dražen Ladić to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Cordero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. If Martín Ferreyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martín Ferreyra's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 56 minutes, Martín Ferreyra made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fisica UNT's corner Maximo Bertol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zheng Jing Feng showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 73 minute of play. Jose Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Zheng Jing Feng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zheng Jing Feng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them.
