Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olav Westad was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Stensrud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Olav Westad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Olav Westad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 30th minute of play. Olav Westad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olav Westad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olav Westad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Olav Westad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sagene IF's goalkeeper Olav Westad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sagene IF's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olav Westad came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Le stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. Ivar Stensrud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Le in the 59th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tore Sæterdal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olav Westad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Miguel Miralles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Furu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Le in the 75th minute of play. Martin Furu's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Furu helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Furu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Olav Westad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 79th minute of the match. After 80 minutes Sagene IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. Olav Westad had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Westad having to interfere. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Olav Westad successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Miguel Miralles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olav Westad. That made the score 0-4 after 94 minutes of play. The Sagene IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
