Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Nicholas during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Wolves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ovidio Baumer sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves FC's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Tome came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Tome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Flavio Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 33 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Wolves FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Tome stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Ciro Tome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 43rd minute of play forced Wolves FC's goalkeeper Ciro Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Flavio Domingues took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Wolves FC's Osvaldo Oroitz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Tome didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Wolves FC's Ciro Tome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 80th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Esiquio in the 82nd minute of play. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Wolves FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Francisco Ofelio hit a great ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Wolves FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Tome breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Carballo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica!
