Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Dåsens IF's Sten Malmberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Dåsens IF from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Dan Björnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reine Kvalfält kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Dan Björnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Dan Björnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Robin Abrahamsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sten Malmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Reine Kvalfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Robin Abrahamsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 37 minutes, Zebastian Bergendahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dåsens IF and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Dåsens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dåsens IF's Sten Malmberg. Sten Malmberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Dåsens IF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Björnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Dan Björnsson made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Abrahamsson in the 60th minute of the match. Alfredo Zoido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Malmberg having to interfere. If Dan Björnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Björnsson in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Malmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 80th minute. Dan Björnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Björnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Zoido hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Dan Björnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Sten Malmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Zoido in the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alfredo Zoido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Zoido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Malmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Dåsens IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
