Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Xavier in the 33rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gian Weidt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Mina in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gian Weidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Eusébio Angelsø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Giovana F C's Wilson Arósio was substituted for Matías Antunes. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Xavier came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Gian Weidt made a huge save. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gian Weidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Tadeu Xavier made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After having played for 88 minutes, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zheng Yan Cheng, made in the 92nd minute of the game. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gian Weidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru.
