Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Freire having to interfere. When UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Jos Verduin in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 minutes, Tiaguinho Saldanha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Tiaguinho Saldanha got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wanderson Freire came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. Wanderson Freire came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 29 played minutes, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Tomás Rosado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ reached it. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jos Verduin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jos Verduin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Jos Verduin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Tomás Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jos Verduin was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Karel-Jan De Winter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 53 minutes of play, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Arnaldo Vergílio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos Verduin in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Jos Verduin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Karel-Jan De Winter struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UMBRELLA CORPORATION™. 63 minutes into the match, Jos Verduin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jos Verduin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jos Verduin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Jos Verduin made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiaguinho Saldanha made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomás Rosado immediately put the ball in play. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Vergílio in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Tomás Rosado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Verduin in the 84th minute of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Wanderson Freire made a huge save. 87 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wanderson Freire. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-2. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Verduin in the 92nd minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
