Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Felix Montenegro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fiz Artealde 3 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Dimitri De Rijck managed to get in a good position for a shot. PS Gurame Bakar's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitri De Rijck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiz Artealde having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri De Rijck in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Dimitri De Rijck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 29th minute Dimitri De Rijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitri De Rijck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After 31 played minutes PS Gurame Bakar got a freekick which was hit by Jan Kemper. 33 minutes into the match, PS Gurame Bakar's Dimitri De Rijck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match PS Gurame Bakar got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yance Puspito ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Figueroa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute, Algot Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitri De Rijck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PS Gurame Bakar's Jan Kemper got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri De Rijck in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Dimitri De Rijck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiz Artealde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiz Artealde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to PS Gurame Bakar getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Algot Nilsson hit a great ball. Fiz Artealde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiz Artealde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dimitri De Rijck sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PS Gurame Bakar made a substitution. Tono Ekodono replaced Dimitri De Rijck. In the 73rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Tono Ekodono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Tono Ekodono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fiz Artealde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play forced PS Gurame Bakar's goalkeeper Fiz Artealde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tono Ekodono in the 88th minute. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Tono Ekodono scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when PS Gurame Bakar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farhan Syarifudin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
