Leszek Ludwiczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's Qu Chuan Xi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 史荣建, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Renzetti in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Renzetti in the 35th minute of play. Nurul Risnandar's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nurul Risnandar helped the player get up and apologised. Nurul Risnandar hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Leszek Ludwiczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leszek Ludwiczak made a kick off. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 史荣建 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 史荣建 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but 史荣建 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. 史荣建 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After having played for 84 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Filippo Renzetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Filippo Renzetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Cheng Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Qu Chuan Xi hit a great ball. Chants of ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队 echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ecuador had held the ball for most of the match.
