In the 20th match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Mielak to maneuver through the defense. Dawid Kazimierz made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Almir Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Dawid Kazimierz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arkadiusz Barciniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
