Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abram Sarmiento got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's Mihály Fülep sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihály Fülep in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. O rey Iván's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Fliz in the 7th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Colombia's goalie and right to Mihály Fülep. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Colombia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihály Fülep in the 15th minute of the match. O rey Iván's Mihály Fülep got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihály Fülep took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 27th minute Mihály Fülep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. O rey Iván's Franz Kafka quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando Tafalla, made in the 36th minute of the game. A hard shot 38 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Aristides Barea managed to make a qualified save. O rey Iván's players were relieved. In the 40th match minute, O rey Iván was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes O rey Iván got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Fliz. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Aristides Barea made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aristides Barea. That made the score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Fliz made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Mihály Fülep stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Mihály Fülep tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye O rey Iván's goalie prevented a goal. Aristides Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of O rey Iván's Aristides Barea. Aristides Barea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. O rey Iván's Pastor Martxot was substituted for Dionisio Orland. O rey Iván's Alejandro Ponciano was substituted for Modesto Garcia. In the 66th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. O rey Iván's Augusto Fliz got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Augusto Fliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Augusto Fliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Ivan Lizar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Ivan Lizar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Augusto Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 79th minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Augusto Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Augusto Fliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivan Lizar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 88 minute of play. When the match was over O rey Iván could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Colombia throughout the match.
