Arkham Legends's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Eliseo Noboa scored to the left of an out of position Jens-Erik Mattsson, making the score, 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, Arkham Legends's Mikael Ståhlberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ståhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Zebastian Norström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arkham Legends's supporters rose to their feet, but Zebastian Norström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Möllgren in the 25th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Norström in the 30th minute of play. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Erik Mattsson having to make a save. Zebastian Norström hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Duset came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Jens-Erik Mattsson in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute Mikael Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arkham Legends's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Arkham Legends's Ludvig Ros got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jens-Erik Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 59th minute of play. Mikael Ståhlberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Mikael Ståhlberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Arkham Legends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patric Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zebastian Norström got free with Benito Sanz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mikael Ståhlberg came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Arkham Legends fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Ståhlberg couldn't finish the play. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Juan Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Juan Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jens-Erik Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arkham Legends played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
