Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. Ubaldo Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Cordarrol in the 5th minute of the match. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Katia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Ubaldo Guzman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. 11 minutes into the game, Felix Ibon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ubaldo Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, HURACAN's Ubaldo Guzman got a free kick in the 16th minute. Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Ubaldo Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Guzman came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Ubaldo Guzman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Guzman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Guzman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ubaldo Guzman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The long shot by Felix Posam in the 56th minute really tested Joaquin Gayoso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. HURACAN's Diego Euloxu suffered a concussion in the 58th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 58 minutes, Camilo Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the HURACAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. HURACAN made a substitution. Alonzo Benino replaced Diego Euloxu. After 58 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when HURACAN's Ubaldo Guzman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ubaldo Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Segundo Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Katia having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Katia was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the game, Felix Ibon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. HURACAN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
