Valette Stars's Maurice Crochard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremias Procopio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 9 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Rayman came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Guillaume Chaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Sandungueo's goal looked a bit too open when Rafail Rusev came free, but Jeremias Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sandungueo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maurice Crochard was slow to take the kick. During this time Valette Stars's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Maurice Crochard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremias Procopio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Poz in the 18th minute of play. Maurice Crochard hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Astor Poz from a close distance when the talented Adrien Tanneau managed to make a qualified save. Valette Stars's players were relieved. Jeremias Procopio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Guillaume Chaine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Procopio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jeremias Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafail Rusev in the 30th minute of the match. Adrien Tanneau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Rayman in the 31st minute. If Rafail Rusev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 37th minute of play forced Sandungueo's goalkeeper Jeremias Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrien Tanneau made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Astor Poz sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes, Guillaume Chaine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valette Stars and the Sandungueo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sandungueo booed when Valette Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillaume Chaine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrien Tanneau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Poz's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 60th match minute, Sandungueo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Motta to maneuver through the defense. Valette Stars made a substitution. Dan Pruvot replaced Pierre-Antoine Landemaine. A collision led to Sandungueo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Natã Motta hit a great ball. Jeremias Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafail Rusev couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 88th minute, Maurice Crochard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafail Rusev in the 96th minute of the match.
