Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Arrigo De Filippo made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which João Trigo however managed to control. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabi Gol's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Gabi Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gabi Gol sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. In the 12thth minute of the game Gabi Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gabi Gol sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. After 19 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. João Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Balonek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gabi Gol came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Goianésia E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabi Gol couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Norbert Balonek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Norbert Balonek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabi Gol made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when João Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek. Norbert Balonek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gabi Gol. Attila Kertész kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Honduras's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tomasz Poniewaz 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Arrigo De Filippo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. João Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Diego Almeida threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 83rd minute, Gabi Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goianésia E.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 88th minute of play. Goianésia E.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
