Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tue Parslet got the match started through his kick off. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Haakon Haarbøl in the 3 minute of the game. When Tøger Bredo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kerteminde Boldklub's protests and gave Tøger Bredo a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Kerteminde Boldklub got a freekick which was hit by Tøger Bredo. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Roman Mehrtens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. 9 minutes into the match, Kerteminde Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Roman Mehrtens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Mehrtens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 16th minute of play. Eberhardt Osted hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Haakon Haarbøl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kerteminde Boldklub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After 20 played minutes Kerteminde Boldklub got a freekick which was hit by Haakon Haarbøl. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roman Mehrtens firmly grabbed it by the left post. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Haakon Haarbøl, made in the 26th minute of the game. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Roman Mehrtens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Mehrtens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kerteminde Boldklub's Roman Mehrtens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Kerteminde Boldklub from getting a goal against them. After 39 minutes, Francisco Seco made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kerteminde Boldklub's Roman Mehrtens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Kerteminde Boldklub's goalkeeper Roman Mehrtens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Kerteminde Boldklub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolaus Kizlich to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Mehrtens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Mehrtens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. Roman Mehrtens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Tue Parslet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Mehrtens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Mehrtens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ture Vejlbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 84th minute of play forced Kerteminde Boldklub's goalkeeper Roman Mehrtens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andre Flor hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Roman Mehrtens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 91st minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Francisco Seco sped through Kerteminde Boldklub's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Mehrtens. 4-0 became the score in the 96th minute when Francisco Seco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uruguay had played much better football throughout.
