Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Pinho in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Dagoberto Veiga in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half SE Tijolo 6 Furos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Giovanni Custódio made the kick off in the second half. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Mexico booed when SE Tijolo 6 Furos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dagoberto Veiga. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 87th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dagoberto Veiga quite easily take care of the ball. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Szczepan Rywin's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szczepan Rywin helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
