Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Witney City. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Tim Hurren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Hurren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 29th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Bond was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After having played for 45 minutes, Leon Swanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Witney City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Swanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 51st minute of play forced Witney City's goalkeeper Tommy Bond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Hurren. When Charles Bolton came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Witney City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Bolton couldn't finish the play. Tommy Bond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Hurren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Luca Espinar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Bond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Bond saved Witney City from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Bond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Christian Sancho in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Witney City's Chip Archer. If Tim Hurren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute of the match, Tim Hurren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lautaro Navarro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luca Espinar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Bond having to make a save. 90 minutes into the match, Tim Hurren notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Bond was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The Witney City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Honduras from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
