Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 31 played minutes ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Ke Zhan. 33 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tao Yu Qing. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 36th minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Tao Yu Qing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Peru booed when ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Xande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peru had won after a very even match.
