The throw-in from Isidro Larra in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 44 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Ferrer. The excitement rose when Peru's Luz Tejedor after 46 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the game Isidro Larra made a throw-in which Cyryl Lichorobiec played forward. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elvio Ferrer took the corner. The corner led GERLIROJO Ψ's Elvio Ferrer to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 59 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Lichorobiec. Andres Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Alonso Berganza made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Alcocer. 92 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Tenorio came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Epifanio Ibañez made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
