Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. The Commandos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Moraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Dumitru Moraru in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dumitru Moraru to make any attempt to save it. Dumitru Moraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of The Commandos's Dumitru Moraru. Dumitru Moraru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dumitru Moraru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Dumitru Moraru in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Moraru having to interfere. Dumitru Moraru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanos Kalfakis in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Moraru having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Antti Ariva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thanos Kalfakis to make the kick off. Dumitru Moraru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Thanos Kalfakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Thanos Kalfakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when The Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Tsirigidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that The Commandos's Dumitru Moraru managed to reach the ball for a save. Dumitru Moraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Moraru having to interfere. The Commandos made a substitution. Grigoris Sourmelis replaced Thanos Kalfakis. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. The Commandos's Fondas Papadogiannakis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fondas Papadogiannakis's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Moraru having to interfere. When Daniil Kleomenis fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Commandos's protests and gave Daniil Kleomenis a yellow card for diving instead. Grigoris Sourmelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dumitru Moraru having to make a save. Dumitru Moraru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Tsirigidis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
