Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gürcan İlmen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Ogün Tunak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerry Atkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Müslüm Vefik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Müslüm Vefik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Sarmiento scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müslüm Vefik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Ogün Tunak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kızıl Elma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. In the 16th minute, Ogün Tunak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alemdar Özaltay in the 20th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Alemdar Özaltay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kızıl Elma's Müslüm Vefik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Gürcan İlmen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Panama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Kızıl Elma got a freekick which was hit by Gürcan İlmen. Kazım Dicle kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Müslüm Vefik was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kızıl Elma through an amazing save. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürcan İlmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Müslüm Vefik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes in the game, Tomas Berganza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Müslüm Vefik having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alemdar Özaltay went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Müslüm Vefik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 91 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ecevit Direm came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazım Dicle's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kazım Dicle helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Kızıl Elma got a freekick which was hit by Kazım Dicle. 96 minutes into the match, Kızıl Elma's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Müslüm Vefik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
