Despite this Franco Verdeja quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Franco Verdeja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. MI EQUIPO's Franco Verdeja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. Franco Verdeja made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Franco Verdeja made a huge save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nerio Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, Felix Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the MI EQUIPO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of MI EQUIPO booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
