Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Piechocki in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play forced Leproso Juniors's goalkeeper Ernesto Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Piechocki in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dominik Piechocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Amato got free with Julio Vera in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Leproso Juniors getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Berker Rıza Uruk hit a great ball. Ernesto Ortzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of the match. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernesto Ortzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Leproso Juniors's Severo Seme got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominik Piechocki. Ernesto Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Dominik Piechocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ernesto Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Ortzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Leproso Juniors getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Pascual Beat hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominik Piechocki was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 67thth minute of the game Berker Rıza Uruk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Berker Rıza Uruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Rıza Uruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Dominik Piechocki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
