Trey Echols started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Lacasa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guilherme Veiga. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Guilherme Veiga in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Racing Miami Futbol Club's Trey Echols in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of the match. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Figueroa in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Mariano Lacasa rounded Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After 28 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. Guilherme Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trey Echols in the 33rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Orlando Casaus took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Veiga. Guilherme Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 64th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams was substituted for Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Chance Adams kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chance Adams got free with Thiago Pliego in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Racing Miami Futbol Club defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Veiga. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Veiga should have stopped the shot. Rodney Hagen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Guilherme Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 89th minute of play. Alexis Hoover hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodney Hagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Rodney Hagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Racing Miami Futbol Club for a fine match.
