Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Carvalho started the match with the kick off. Donato Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Donato Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Renascer's Edgard Linhares got a free kick in the 7th minute. Donato Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Renascer defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Souza. The Renascer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Souza should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Carvalho came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Gong Yi Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Guilherme Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Renascer's Donato Souza. Donato Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Donato Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horácio Maciel took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After a rather tough play, Renascer's Edgard Linhares got a free kick in the 51st minute. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renascer's Donato Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Renascer from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Edmundo Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Maciel in the 65th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Donato Souza made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Donato Souza in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Renascer's Donato Souza managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 74th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Donato Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 77 minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Renascer's Gong Yi Feng. But to his dismay, Gong Yi Feng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Donato Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Renascer's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Souza came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renascer's Donato Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Donato Souza. 3-5. Ecuador played a much better game than Renascer and deserved their victory. The Renascer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
