Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Karol Tylinski made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Saúl Zambujal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karol Tylinski in the 66 minute of the game. Erdoğan Çolak hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Saúl Zambujal made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Karol Tylinski in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Honduras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
