The audience thought a goal was coming when 孔骏光 got free with Noel Seide in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haiti's attentive Jean Marie Alcius managed to snatch the ball when 鲁西朋 made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Haiti's Noel Seide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Haiti from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, 袁乐悦 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 于凌亮 in the 23rd minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孔骏光 in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 上海星光队's 于凌亮 got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, 袁乐悦 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Seide. The goal made the score 3-0. After having played for 46 minutes, 袁乐悦 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 上海星光队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 袁乐悦 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when 袁乐悦 made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by 康洋志 with 鲁西朋 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Alphonse scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 袁希洋, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, 上海星光队's 孔骏光 got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Ernso Constant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, 上海星光队's 袁希洋 got control of the ball when Jonathan Alphonse tried to sneak it across the goal line. 鲁西朋 charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 鲁西朋 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haiti booed when 上海星光队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. 鲁西朋 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodney Emmanuel's late challenge caught a 上海星光队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Ernso Constant hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, 于凌亮 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by 鲁西朋 with 汪烨强 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 汪烨强, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Philippe Ambroise hit a great ball.
