An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 6th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Jose Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Vimaro saved La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting behind. In the 18th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jose Vimaro quite easily take care of the ball. Eliseo Mina took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Vimaro. Jose Vimaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jose Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Bastien Domenge came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastien Domenge in the 39th minute of play. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jose Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Carmelo Vachon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Carmelo Vachon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ahmet Baki Tecimer fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Maquina 9-12-18's protests and gave Ahmet Baki Tecimer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Vimaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 96thth minute of the game Antonio Tenorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru played a much better game than La Maquina 9-12-18 and deserved their victory. The La Maquina 9-12-18 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
