Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Placido Patxi started the match with the kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Savier in the 6th minute of play. Suárez Yasin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Onbera. Suárez Yasin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espinillo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 22nd minute Placido Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Savier in the 22nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Patxi in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Espinillo's Placido Patxi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. When Amado Savier fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinillo's protests and gave Amado Savier a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45thth minute of the game Placido Patxi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute Placido Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Suárez Yasin. Espinillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Espinillo's Suárez Yasin got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Espinillo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 58 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Amado Savier put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. In the 65th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Patxi in the 66th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Macos Graciani collided with an opponent after 72 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. Angelino Boni's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Boni helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Espinillo got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Boni. In the 78th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Suárez Yasin. Espinillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Placido Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Espinillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Onbera to maneuver through the defense. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suárez Yasin having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Placido Patxi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espinillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 95th match minute, Espinillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Boni to maneuver through the defense. Espinillo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
