The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Vallin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camilo Freixa came out and tried to block the shot, but William Vallin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Albert Hernström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Freixa. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Vallin's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magne Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ferrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great ball. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Magne Smefeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alejandro Villa fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Alejandro Villa a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Villa. Joshua Miralles made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Mongols's Tage Classon. The Mongols's Albert Hernström suffered a concussion in the 30th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Benito Madrid fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Benito Madrid a yellow card for diving instead. The Mongols made a substitution. Erik Torsberg replaced Albert Hernström. 30 minutes into the game, one of Bolivia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bolivia:s Camilo Freixa showed great skill when he stopped William Vallin:s penalty. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Magne Smefeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Torsten Säv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Torsberg made a kick off. Magne Smefeldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Fernandino went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when William Vallin came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Torsberg in the 60th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Torsberg in the 64th minute of play. Magne Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mario Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alejandro Villa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Alejandro Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Vallin in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. In the 83rd minute of the match William Vallin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Torsberg came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
