Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Namık Hinoğlu saved ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ from getting behind. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Namık Hinoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Namık Hinoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Namık Hinoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Ersan Adalı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan Adalı in the 25th minute of play. A hard shot 30 in the game by Ersan Adalı from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Ersan Adalıs short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mehmet Faydalı's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Faydalı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Faydalı to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Ersan Adalı got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-1. After some careless play in the ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Namık Hinoğlu. The ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Namık Hinoğlu should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ege Tanyol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Namık Hinoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 played minutes, ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s Leonel Velasco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ reached it.
