Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. After 10 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Casaus. In the 12th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hatayspor's Güvenç Taşan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play. Güvenç Taşan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hatayspor's goalkeeper Güvenç Taşan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nafiz Revis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güvenç Taşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güvenç Taşan having to make a save. In the 31st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Taşan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Alan Tamayo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sermet Baydar in the 34 minute of the game. Alp Torehan struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hatayspor. After the first half Chile were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nafiz Revis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chile booed when Hatayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baskın Türker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güvenç Taşan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 53rd minute. When Hatayspor's Nafiz Revis in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute Hatayspor were awarded a corner. Baskın Türker went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Hatayspor's Baskın Türker to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Torehan in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the game Hadi Okay made a throw-in which Alp Torehan played forward. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nafiz Revis's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manzanedo. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Ethem Acaralp in the 69th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güvenç Taşan having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Güvenç Taşan in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Güvenç Taşan made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 75 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Hatayspor fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Hatayspor's Nafiz Revis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Hatayspor's Baskın Türker got a free kick in the 79th minute. Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd minute of play forced Hatayspor's goalkeeper Güvenç Taşan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hatayspor's Güvenç Taşan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Güvenç Taşan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alp Torehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
