Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valar morghulis the free kick. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Poyraz Çelikyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Valar morghulis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hüseyin Turan Baysan. After a rather tough play, Valar morghulis's Abdulsamet Brothers got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Oğuzhan Temizcan made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mustafa Arif Kavi. Hüseyin Turan Baysan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Valar morghulis's Arda Göksel Pekiner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 37th minute, Moises Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Hüseyin Turan Baysan. Valar morghulis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The throw-in from Abdulsamet Brothers in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Milagros Cabal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Oğuzhan Temizcan made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Sebastian Villa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 52nd playminute. After having played for 55 minutes, Tümer Taykut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valar morghulis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tümer Taykut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Turan Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Hüseyin Turan Baysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Mustafa Arif Kavi in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hüseyin Turan Baysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Ali Tufan came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hüseyin Turan Baysan, 1-5. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 95th minute.
