Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. Miguel Pirani hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celio Oton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. 30 minutes into the game, Ion Dulgherescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ion Dulgherescu's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Franco Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ion Dulgherescu was the one to do the kick off. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Dulgherescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Ion Dulgherescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Ion Dulgherescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristinel Inculeț kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- made a substitution. Keno De Bruyne replaced Ion Dulgherescu. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Alfredo de Souza was substituted for Celio Oton. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keno De Bruyne in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keno De Bruyne in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Franco Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 79 played minutes BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Simon Tomasson. Simon Tomasson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jenson Smith took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franco Szczęsny. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Keno De Bruyne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl Zielezinski was slow to take the kick. During this time BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s players had a chance to rest. Franco Szczęsny came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Sam Campbell. But to his dismay, Sam Campbell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Alfredo de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
