Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to GAZİKENT FK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ahmet Baki Pakkan hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Gazi Hunalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 9 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After 11th play minutes Cemil Oral shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gazi Hunalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, GAZİKENT FK's Sebastian Håkansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavio Odon in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cemil Oral came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gazi Hunalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gazi Hunalp. Gazi Hunalp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. GAZİKENT FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Octavio Odon in the 45th minute. A nice corner shot did that Octavio Odon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GAZİKENT FK were winning 2-3.

Cemil Oral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Octavio Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doğan Gençoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Cemil Oral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Octavio Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahir Ceberut got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Doğan Gençoğlu in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Doğan Gençoğlu, made in the 79th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Octavio Odon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Gazi Hunalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Octavio Odon scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GAZİKENT FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
