Bicicleta F.C.'s Tony Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Löv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. Desiderio Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Casaus in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Löv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andreas Arendt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Andreas Arendt sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Löv narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Löv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bicicleta F.C.'s Tony Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play. Tony Löv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Chile got a corner. Bicicleta F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chile's Orlando Casaus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tony Löv in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Antoine Griezmann sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Löv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Segundo Feliu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Segundo Feliu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Orlando Casaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Löv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Bicicleta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Arendt to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Feliu to make the kick off. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Tony Löv made a huge save. With a little luck, Bicicleta F.C.'s Tony Löv got control of the ball when Guillermo Fontirroig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tony Löv was a little too slow when Guillermo Fontirroig got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 77th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Bicicleta F.C.'s Mateo Batista was substituted for Gregorio Abalos. With his leg Tony Löv managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Löv having to make a save. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa, in the 85th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Chile. If Guillermo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Gagriel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Tony Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Löv made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
