Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kevan Brossier came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chaponnay FC's Moïse Girerd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 11th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevan Brossier in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Alex Cambeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaponnay FC the free kick. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevan Brossier in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevan Brossier in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Luis Andreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacils short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Moïse Girerd to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Moïse Girerd made a huge save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaud Houzet in the 35th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Moïse Girerd - 1-1 was put on the score board in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Chaponnay FC's Stéphane Eynard got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Boisson in the 47th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moïse Girerd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evan Le Moullec to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stéphane Eynard during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stéphane Eynard to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Darren Bour. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Girerd having to interfere. Kevan Brossier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevan Brossier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Moïse Girerd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moïse Girerd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felipe Ros fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Felipe Ros a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The long shot by Charly Boisson in the 71st minute really tested Marcos Cotilla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 71st minute, Kevan Brossier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevan Brossier. Moïse Girerd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 76th minute of play. Kevan Brossier hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bakary Ramsamy hit a great ball. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. Moïse Girerd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Moïse Girerd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moïse Girerd saved Chaponnay FC from getting behind. When Dylan Sarmiento fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Dylan Sarmiento a yellow card for diving instead. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Moïse Girerd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama.
